The Family Medicine Directorate is one of the clinical directorates of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. The directorate provides a 24-hour general and specialized primary care services to clients of all ages, gender and disease type. The Family Medicine Directorate, formerly called Polyclinic Directorate is the first point of contact to the hospital by most patients.

 The Family Medicine Directorate of KATH also serves as a training centre under the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS) for the training of specialist family physicians. The training, which began in 2005, has trained over 30 family physicians working in various health care facilities in Ghana.
