INTRODUCTION
The Radiology Directorate was created out of the former Diagnostics Directorate. It is one of the Clinical Directorates of the hospital, with a vision to become a directorate with prompt, efficient and advanced quality radiology services that meet the expectations of all clients.
STRUCTURE OF THE RADIOLOGY DIRECTORATE
The Directorate is made up of five units as follows
- A & E Radiology unit, manned by a team comprising:
- Consultant/senior specialist -1
- Specialist – 3
- Residents -4
- Deputy Chief Radiographer-1
- Principal Radiographer -1
- Radiographer – 2
- Technical Officer -2
- Secretary/ healthcare assistants/receptionist- 4A –Block Radiology Unit, manned by a team of 13, as follows:
- Consultant/senior specialist -1

- Residents -5
- Deputy Chief Radiographer-1

- MRI Center Radiology Unit, manned by a team of 14, as follows

- Support training of undergraduate and postgraduate health professionals
